Executive - IT Helpdesk Support

ERL is currently seeking a highly motivated IT Helpdesk Support to support and maintain IT System. Our systems are mainly using Microsoft Products. We are looking for an organized, solution-oriented skill and adapt to the fast-paced working environment. These include provide technical troubleshooting, maintaining workstation and network performance troubleshooting.

The challenge of the role is to manage a variety of tasks at once and responding in a timely manner, supporting multiple operating system versions and keep up with a rapidly changing technology.

This role requires an individual who is passionate about technical support, creative problem solving and lateral thinking.

  • To provide IT technical support including equipment installation, deployment, system troubleshooting and network maintenance
  • To manage IT asset movement and update the IT asset database
  • To manage IT helpdesk support requests and resolve in a timely manner
  • To provide basic IT training including Microsoft Office training, in-house application and IT orientation briefing
  • To provide IT support for other systems such as surveillance system, Electronic Information Display System, Workflow Management System and intranet portal
  • To maintain application program and debug the program code as and when is needed
  • To coordinate and manage third parties to resolve technical problems
  • To coordinate and liaise with vendor on IT purchasing and documentations
  • Ideal candidates should have 2 years’ working experience in Professional Certificate, Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, or Professional Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology/CompTia or equivalent.
  • Good working experience in providing end user support on Microsoft Office suite and desktop
  • Knowledge with programming and reporting would be an added advantage
  • Fast learner and a self-starter in learning/developing new skills. Strong analytical and problem solving skills would be an advantage
  • Discipline, Self-motivated, responsible, creative, goal-orientated and able to work with minimum supervision
  • Able to work beyond normal working hours if required
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in both Bahasa Malaysia and English
