ERL Partners with Marriott International Hotels in Malaysia on KLIA Ekspres Ride & Win Campaign to Spice Up Visit Malaysia 2020


Kuala Lumpur, 17th February 2020 – Express Rail Link (ERL) has launched a new KLIA Ekspres Ride & Win Campaign in conjunction with the Visit Malaysia 2020 Campaign. The campaign, a collaboration with Marriott International hotels in Malaysia and supported by Tourism Malaysia, is open to all customers who buy KLIA Ekspres train tickets from 1 February 2020 to 31 December 2020.

Noormah Mohd Noor, Chief Executive of ERL said, “ERL is keen to play our part in promoting Malaysia as a preferred destination during this Visit Malaysia 2020 Campaign. However, the current COVID-19 outbreak has undoubtedly made people more cautious about travelling on public transport. We are taking all necessary measures to assure the travelling public that taking public transport is safe.”

During this period of heightened precautions, ERL is putting emphasis on five (5) key areas, namely, Passengers, Staff, Trains, Stations and Awareness. It is tripling the cleaning frequency of high contact areas at stations and using stronger disinfectants for cleaning and sanitising work onboard the trains.
