ERL and Traveloka Partner to Provide a New Channel for Travellers to Purchase KLIA Ekspres Tickets

Kuala Lumpur, 1st October 2018 – Express Rail Link Sdn Bhd (ERL) is now partnering with Traveloka, an online site that provides airline ticketing and hotel booking services. This partnership is aligned with ERL’s mission of providing a seamless service experience that is fast, reliable, comfortable and convenient for travellers.

Headquartered in Jakarta, Traveloka is popular in the Southeast Asian region, such as Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam. “We are proud to partner with a popular online travel company such as Traveloka. We believe that the trust given by Traveloka stems from our commitment to provide the best for our travellers. This partnership also enhance ERL’s effort of widening its distribution channel. Now, other than purchasing tickets from the KLIA Ekspres ticket counters, KLIA Ekspres website and mobile app, travellers will be able to plan their journey easily as they are able to purchase KLIA Ekspres tickets on theTraveloka App,” said Noormah Mohd Noor during the launch ceremony.

Now, alongside booking flight tickets and hotel stays, Traveloka users can easily purchase their KLIA Ekspres tickets so they can make their way to or from the airport without worrying about traffic.”

To buy the ERLtickets, simply download the Traveloka App via Google Play or App Store, then tap on “Airport Transport.” You can then choose your starting location and destination (KLIA/KLIA 2 to KL Sentral or vice versa), as well as the date and time you wish to travel. Tap the “Train” tab and select KLIA Ekspres. Select the number of Adult (13 years old and above) or Child (2-12 years old) tickets you would like to buy and fill in the contact details before reviewing your booking and making payment.

Once you have made payment, you will receive confirmation and e-ticket via email. Thee-ticket can also be viewed under “My Booking” on the app’s main page. The Flexi Ticket is valid for any train that matches the route and selected date on the ticket. To board the train, each passenger will be issued their own unique QR code. Just scan the QR code on your e-ticket directly at the KLIA Ekspres gate to enter.
