ERL signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Prasarana Malaysia Berhad for the operations of Al Mashaaer Al Mugaddassah Metro Southern Line on 17th June 2015. The MOU was signed by Pn Noormah Mohd Noor, Chief Executive Officer of ERL and En Azmi Abdul Aziz, Group Managing Director of Prasarana and witnessed by Mr Thomas Baake, Chief Executive Officer of E-MAS and En Ahmad Nizam Mohamed Amin, Group Director Rail and Chief Executive Officer of Rapid Rail.

ERL will be sending 25 staff to Mekah to support the seven day operations for this year Hajj season.
