How to Get the Merdeka Fare:

Step 1
Purchase your ticket via the KLIA Ekspres app or KLIAekspres.com.

Step 2
Select a KLIA Transit Return Ticket on any of the following routes:

  • KL Sentral ↔ Putrajaya & Cyberjaya
  • Bandar Tasik Selatan ↔ Putrajaya & Cyberjaya
  • Putrajaya & Cyberjaya ↔ Salak Tinggi

Step 3
Select your travel date between 29 – 31 August 2026 and complete your purchase.

The 50% discount will be automatically applied. No promo code is required.

 

  1. The Merdeka Return Fare 2026 promotion is available exclusively via the KLIA Transit website and mobile application. 
  2. The promotion offers 50% off selected KLIA Transit return fares on eligible sectors.  
  3. Tickets must be purchased between 26 August 2026 and 31 August 2026 ("Sales Period"). 
  4. Tickets are valid for travel between 29 August 2026 and 31 August 2026 ("Travel Period") only. 
  5. Both the trips must be completed on the selected travel date.  
  6. The promotion is valid for KLIA Transit services only and is not applicable on KLIA Ekspres services. 
  7. This promotion is only applicable for return journeys involving Putrajaya & Cyberjaya Station on the following sectors:
    • KL Sentral ↔ Putrajaya & Cyberjaya 
    • Bandar Tasik Selatan ↔ Putrajaya & Cyberjaya 
    • Putrajaya & Cyberjaya ↔ Salak Tinggi 
  8. Tickets may only be used for travel between the origin and destination stations selected and are not transferable to other sectors or routes.  
  9. Promotional tickets are non-refundable, non-transferable, and non-exchangeable once purchased. 
  10. Lost, damaged, expired, or deleted tickets will not be replaced or refunded. 
  11. ERL reserves the right to verify ticket validity and passenger details and to reject, refuse, or invalidate any ticket suspected of misuse, fraud, duplication, or abuse. 
  12. Any misuse or fraudulent use of the promotion may result in the cancellation of the ticket without refund. 
  13. Tickets are subject to all applicable laws and regulations, as well as ERL's Conditions of Carriage. 
  14. A copy of ERL's Conditions of Carriage is available at Customer Service Counters and on the KLIA Ekspres website. 
  15. By purchasing and/or using the promotional ticket, passengers acknowledge and agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions and ERL's Conditions of Carriage. 
  16. ERL reserves the right to amend, vary, suspend, or terminate this promotion and/or these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. 
  17. In the event of any dispute arising from this promotion, ERL's decision shall be final and binding.
