The “KLIA Ekspres” with Bank Muamalat Credit Card-i Campaign (“Campaign”) is organised by Bank Muamalat Malaysia Berhad (Company No.: 196501000376 (6175-W) (“BMMB”) and is subject to the following Terms and Conditions:

  1. By participating in this Campaign, all eligible Bank Muamalat Credit Card-i Cardholders (“Cardholders”) hereby expressly agree to be bound by this Terms & Conditions and the decisions made by BMMB.

  2. The Campaign will commence from 1 November until 31 December 2024 (“Campaign Period”), both dates inclusive.

  3.  The Campaign is open to all new and existing Bank Muamalat Credit Card-i (“Card”) Cardholders who meet the conditions as stipulated herein.

  4. The following individuals are NOT ELIGIBLE to participate in this Campaign:

    a. Any Cardholder who had cancelled his/her Card during the Campaign Period; and
    b. Cardholders whose accounts with BMMB which have been suspended, closed or who are in breach of their Agreement with BMMB.

  5. Cardholder is entitled to a 50% discount on the Single Adult Fare when using Bank Muamalat Credit Card-i for payment. 

  6. The Campaign is limited to the first 300 tickets on a first come first served basis. Each cardholder is limited to one (1) redemption per day.

    • The discount is applied to each contactless transaction made directly    at the KLIA Ekspres gate based on the Standard Single Adult Fare
  8. This promotion is applicable on the KLIA Ekspres train services.

  9. The discount deduction will be made at the point of exit from the station paid area. 

  10. The discount is not applicable to other payment channels such as the KLIA Ekspres website, self-service kiosk or ticket counter. 

  11. This Campaign is not applicable with any other ongoing products, fares, packages, promotions, discounts, vouchers, or membership privileges and not exchangeable or replaceable for cash. 

  12. No refund is allowed once the transaction is done.

  13. In addition, and without prejudice to the terms in the BMMB’s Privacy Notice, Cardholders agree and consent to his/her personal data or information being collected, processed and used by BMMB for:

    a) The purposes of this Campaign; and
    b) Marketing and promotional activities conducted by BMMB, including without limitation to the use and/ or publication of any details provided in and/or in connection to the entries interview material as well as responses and related photographs in any form of advertising or publicity media and materials; and
    C)  Agrees to co-operate and participate in all reasonable advertising and publicity activities of BMMB in relation to this Campaign without any compensation.

  14. BMMB shall not be responsible or held liable in any manner whatsoever in respect of any technical failures of any kind whatsoever, intervention, interruptions and/or electronic or human error in the administration and/ or processing of the transaction performed using the Card provided the same is not caused by BMMB nor the determination of the customers’ eligibility for the Campaign.

  15. BMMB reserves the right to amend, shorten, cancel, suspend or terminate this Campaign or any part thereof with seven (7) calendar days’ notice. Such notice may be published by BMMB via its’ website www.muamalat.com.my. It shall be the responsibility of the eligible Cardholder to be informed or otherwise seek out any such notice(s) validly posted regularly.

  16. For the avoidance of doubt, the amendment, shortening, cancellation, suspension or termination of this Campaign by BMMB shall not entitle the eligible Cardholder or any other persons whatsoever to any claim or compensation against BMMB for any losses or damages suffered or incurred as a direct or indirect result of such amendments, shortening, cancellation, suspension or termination unless such losses or damages are attributable by BMMB’s gross negligence, fraud or wilful misconduct.

  17. BMMB is entitled to, at its discretion, disqualify/ reject any eligible Cardholders who do not comply with the terms and conditions stated herein and/ or are found or suspected to be tampering with the Campaign and/ or its process or the operations of this Campaign. Tampering shall include fraudulent activities involving any act of deceit and/ or deception and/or cheating with regards to the Campaign.

  18. BMMB shall not be liable for any injury or loss of lives and valuable or any other loss or damage whatsoever or however suffered or sustained by any eligible Cardholder arising or resulting, directly or indirectly in whole or part, from their participation in this Campaign or from the prize or prizes won by them through the Campaign or as a result of any act of omission on the part of BMMB. Furthermore, BMMB shall not be liable for any default of its obligations under the Campaign due to any force majeure event which includes but not limited to act of God, war, riot, strike, lockout, industrial action, fire, flood, drought, storm or any event beyond the reasonable control of BMMB.

  19. Eligible Customers are welcome to seek clarification from BMMB should any of the Terms and Conditions not fully understood.

  20. For information, enquiries, feedback and/or complaints related to the Campaign, please contact BMMB’s Customer Service at +603-2600 5500. Alternatively, for feedback and/or complaints submissions, the eligible Cardholder may choose to e-mail BMMB their feedback at feedback@muamalat.com.my.

  21. BMMB’s decision on all matters relating to this Campaign shall be deemed final, conclusive and binding and shall not be obliged to give any reasons or enter into any correspondence with any person(s) on any matter concerning this Campaign.

  22. In addition to the terms stipulated above, Cardholders agree that the general Terms and Conditions in the Cardholders’ Agreement shall be read together with this Terms and Conditions as an entire agreement.

  23. This Terms and Conditions stated herein shall be governed by and construed under the Laws of Malaysia and the rules, regulations and guidelines of Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) and other relevant bodies and authority, in force, from time to time.

  24. The Terms and Conditions are also subject to all prevailing provisions of the Islamic Financial Services Act 2013 (IFSA), Anti-money Laundering, Anti-Terrorism Financing and Proceeds of Unlawful Activities Act 2001 (AMLA) and Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA).

  25. All parties are expected to understand and comply with the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission Act 2009 (including any amendments thereof). The Bank reserves the right to report any actions or activities subjected of being criminal in nature to the police or other relevant authorities and include to terminate the transaction hereof.

  26. The Terms and Conditions including the discretion rights and/or power given to any parties under this document shall be subject to Shariah principles.

  1. Offer: The 20% discount is applied to each contactless transaction made directly at the KLIA Ekspres or KLIA Transit gate based on the Standard Single Adult Fare using Bank Islam Card-i (Credit Card-i/Debit Card-i).
  2. Promotion period: From 1 January 2024 until 31 December 2024.
  3. The promotion is applicable on the KLIA Ekspres and KLIA Transit train services.
  4. The discount is not applicable to other products, fares or packages.

  6. The discount is non-transferable and cannot be used with other ongoing promotions, discounts or vouchers.
  7. The discount is not applicable to other payment channels such as the KLIA Ekspres website, self-service kiosk or ticket counter.
  8. The promotion cannot be exchanged for cash or other products or services.
  9. No refund is allowed once the transaction is done.
  10. Bank Islam and Express Rail Link Sdn Bhd (ERL) reserve the rights to amend, cancel, terminate, or suspend the promotion by providing sufficient notice not less than fourteen (14) days prior to the date of amendment, cancellation, termination or suspension. The mode of notification could be in writing, via electronic means or display of notices at Bank Islam’s branches and websites, and ERL’s stations, social media and website. For the avoidance of doubt, cancellation, termination or suspension of the promotion shall not entitle the Cardmembers who participate in this promotion to any claim or compensation against Bank Islam and/or ERL for any losses or damages whatsoever suffered or incurred as a direct and indirect result of the act of cancellation, termination or suspension.
  11. By participating in this promotion, Bank Islam Cardmembers agree to abide by the promotion terms and conditions as prescribed and/or amended by ERL and/or Bank Islam from time to time.
  12. ERL is the sole provider of all train services and ticket fares under this promotion. The ticketing is subject to all applicable laws and regulations, and also to the terms and conditions specified in ERL’s Conditions of Carriage. A copy of ERL’s Conditions of Carriage is available at its ticket counters and on its website www.KLIAekspres.com. By participating in this promotion, Cardmembers agree to abide by ERL’s prevailing ticket fares and Conditions of Carriage.
  13. In case of any dispute, the decision of ERL and Bank Islam is final.
  14. These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Malaysia and the courts of Malaysia shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or in relation to the promotion or these terms and conditions.

Disclaimer

  1. Bank Islam shall not be responsible or liable for any claims, loss or damage whatsoever, resulting from or in connection with this promotion.
  2. Bank Islam’s prevailing terms and conditions governing the use of Bank Islam Card-i shall continue to apply in addition to the terms and conditions of this promotion.

  1. Voucher is valid on the Lazada website, mobile website or mobile applications (iOS & Android).
  2. Voucher must be utilized within the validity period and is not valid for the use after the expiry date.
  3. Voucher is valid for ONE redemption each day. Each voucher is for ONE-TIME use only.
  4. Multiple vouchers cannot be used in a single receipt.

  6. Vouchers are not exchangeable for cash, nor exchangeable for other vouchers under any circumstances including discontinued or cancelled vouchers; improper use of, or inability to redeem, a voucher; or the inability to redeem a Voucher due to technical issues and will not be replaced or refunded once expired. Voucher should not be sold, exchanged, or transferred for value under any circumstances.
  7. Lazada reserves the right to cancel or modify any order, or revoke the use of vouchers for any reason, including suspicious or fraudulent purchasing activity or voucher use; voucher abuse, including the use of multiple accounts or multiple checkouts associated with the same customer or group of customers; or voucher used in bad faith (including resold vouchers or use of vouchers by customers purchasing products for the purpose of reselling).
  8. Additional terms and conditions may be specified in relation to specific voucher (for example, duration, eligibility, discount amount and products covered), and will govern the use and redemption of those vouchers in addition to these terms.
  9. Use of Vouchers by resellers is not tolerated, and Lazada reserves the right to cancel orders which are deemed to display reseller behavior.
  10. Voucher may be subject to applicable tax, if any.
