If you live or work within the vicinity of the new MRT Putrajaya Line such as Cyberjaya, Taman Equine, Serdang, Kuchai or KLCC, you can now travel on the MRT to Putrajaya Sentral, switch over to the KLIA Transit service and head to the airport. With a journey time of only 16 minutes on the KLIA Transit to Terminal 1 (additional 4 minutes to Terminal 2), this is your fastest and greenest way to the airport!

The KLIA Transit fare from Putrajaya Sentral to the airport is only RM9.40 for Adult (RM4.20 for Child 6-15 years). Buy tickets at the counter or self-service kiosk, or go contactless directly at the gate! Free travel for children below 6!

You can enjoy concession fares on the KLIA Transit using MyKad (30% discount for one-way) if you are a Malaysian senior citizen, person with disability, secondary school students aged 16 and above, and students in higher learning institutes. Prior registration with supporting proof and MyKad activation must be done first.

FAQ - MRT to Airport

 

• Can I purchase MRT and KLIA Transit tickets together?

No, MRT and KLIA Transit tickets must be purchased separately at their respective ticket counters or kiosks. You can also buy KLIA Transit tickets online at https://www.kliaekspres.com/ or through our app.

• Can I use MY50 at the KLIA Transit gate?

No, MY50 is only valid for Rapid KL LRT, MRT, Monorail, BRT, Rapid KL bus, and MRT feeder bus services in Klang Valley.

• Can I take the MRT from any station, like TRX, to KLIA?

Yes, you can take the MRT from the TRX station to the MRT Putrajaya Sentral Station (PY14), and then take the KLIA Transit at the Putrajaya & Cyberjaya station to the KLIA (Terminal 1 and Terminal 2).

• Is the MRT Putrajaya Sentral in the same location as the KLIA Transit Putrajaya & Cyberjaya station?

The KLIA Transit is a short 1-2 minute walk from the MRT Putrajaya Sentral station.
