Senior Executive, Social Media

The Senior Executive, social media is responsible for developing and executing ERL's social media strategy and activities to drive brand engagement, awareness, and conversions. This role will craft compelling content, manage community interactions, analyse performance, and optimize campaigns across all social media platforms to achieve business objectives and KPI.

Strategic Planning

  1. Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with ERL's marketing objectives
  2. Create and manage a detailed social media content calendar for all platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn)
  3. Build a social media framework that integrates with relevant stakeholders, including Customer Service

Content marketing

  1. Serve as ERL's brand voice and storyteller, creating engaging and relevant content that resonates with target audiences
  2. Craft compelling copy and visuals for social media posts, campaigns, and promotions to drive engagement and conversations
  3. Ensure consistent brand messaging and tone across all social media platforms
  4. Manage and define key messaging, creative direction, campaign proposition, and target audience for all ERL social media campaigns and activities
  5. Manage partnership opportunities with social media partners, content creators, and influencers
  6. Provide clear and effective briefs to agencies and vendors to deliver result-driven campaigns

 

Community Management for ERL’s social promotions/ campaigns

  1. Manage and respond to community interactions and comments across all social platforms pertaining to ERL’s promotions/ campaigns
  2. Cultivate relationships with Rail community groups, key influencers, and loyal customers for maximum engagement
  3. Drive consistent engagement amongst community members, and encourage brand advocacy

 

Day-to-day Management

  1. Manage daily social media activities and content scheduling – including content (posts) planning (organic and paid boosting)
  2. Collaborate with CSM on social media inquiries
  3. Leverage key insights and data from brand sentiment tool to create relevant and impactful messaging

 

Performance Analysis and Reporting

  1. Monitor and analyze social media performance using analytics tools
  2. Deliver reports on social campaign performance and brand sentiment
  3. Optimize campaigns based on data-driven insights

 

Budget Management

    1. Manage the social media budget, allocating resources effectively for campaigns and paid promotions
    2. Track expenditures and ensure alignment with KPIs

The ideal candidate should have:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, communications, or any other related fields
  • A minimum 5 years’ experience in a social media/ content marketing role. Experience working in marketing agencies, tech, media/ content-related industry is a plus point.
  • Excellent understanding of social media and consumer trends, strategy and performance management
  • Excellent in creative and analytical thinking, and communications skills (written/ verbal)
  • Ability to effectively communicate information and ideas in written, verbal, and creative/ video format
  • Experience in sourcing, managing, producing and publishing content
