Vice President, Marketing Management
  1. Increase the company's total revenue, market share and profitability through effective sales and marketing management.
  2. Achieve the ridership and revenue targets set by the company.
  3. Increase awareness of the company and products, and maintaining the good image of the company.
  4. Assist Management to review, formulate and implement policies, strategies and operational plans to ensure that the operations of the KLIA Ekspres and KLIA Transit meet the Operational Objectives.
  1. The development, management and implementation of :
    • Marketing Plan
    • Product and Service Branding
    • Marketing programmes/campaigns (B2C)
    • Customer communication
    • Product development including exploring new products and services that will grow the business
    • Enhancement of brand through the implementation of effective advertising, public relations initiatives and community event sponsorships
    • Advertising and promotional programmes
    • Direct marketing strategies and creative solutions
    • B2C partnerships with strategic and tactical partners
    • Market research and segmentation
    • Crisis communication
  2. Marketing
    • To formulate, develop, implement and follow through the overall marketing policies, strategies and plans in order to realise the Company's objectives based on pricing strategy, promotional strategy and competitive strategy
    • To determine budgetary requirements and to work within these in order to achieve the Company's goals and objectives
    • To prepare market forecasts and programmes
    • To analyse present and new business in order to give priority to the most profitable markets
    • To identify, develop, recommend and launch new products that will strengthen the company's competitiveness
    • To liaise with relevant third parties on determining new products and modifying existing products to meet customer needs
    • To be responsible in managing both the launching of new products and to sustain product forecast
    • To identify and study markets potential for existing and new products
    • To identify potential problems that will affect Company’s competitiveness and profitability
    • To coordinate the production of products to ensure that they meet the decision made
    • To prepare time tables and schedule for product launching and to benchmark products against competitors and international standards
  3. General
    • To coordinate the development of all company's products
    • To create new and maintain old businesses through direct customer contact
    • To evaluate and review any issues and to recommend options and solutions for Management’s decision
    • To direct the marketing personnel to ensure the achievement of business goals and objectives
    • To manage and motivate the staff so that the Company is able to meet its revenue and service targets

We are looking for an exceptional candidate with a minimum of 10 years’ experience in handling similar capacity. The person must have strong leadership qualities, excellent management skills, passion in marketing and strong decision-making ability.  Experience working in a marketing communication/advertising agency is an added advantage.

The person must possess strong negotiation, communication, organisational, data analysis and problem-solving skills as well as an excellent command of English and Bahasa Malaysia (both written and oral). Additionally, a recognised Degree in Marketing/Business Studies/Business and ICT, or its equivalent professional qualifications.

You are expected to have:

  • Experience in traditional and digital marketing
  • Knowledge of loyalty program, online payment solutions and e-commerce will be highly regarded.
  • Experience in travel and transportation industry is an added advantage
  • Experience in ISO environment, including internal and external audit
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Preferably between 35 to 45 years of age

A forward-thinking, creative, result-driven and self-motivated person is highly desirable.

Note : This is a 2-year contract employment with benefits included. Consideration for renewal or permanent employment will be based on performance.
