This collaboration aims to provide a fast, more convenient, and flexible transportation option for local and international passengers, while offering the option to book tickets for trains from the airport to any selected KTMB station in a single transaction. As a start, 5 KTMB stations with high demand ie Alor Setar, Sungai Petani, Butterworth, Bukit Mertajam, and Ipoh, have been selected to be included in this integration project.

The purchase of the integrated tickets can be done through the ERL website and through KITS (KTMB Integrated Ticketing System), which have been made accessible to public starting 19 July 2024. The inaugural ceremony was officiated by Yang Berhormat Datuk Haji Hasbi Habibollah, Deputy Minister of Transport, together with YBhg. Datuk Mohd Rani Hisham Samsudin, Group Chief Executive Officer of KTMB and YBrs. Puan Noormah Mohd Noor, Chief Executive Officer of ERL, at the Arrival Hall of KLIA Ekspres, KL Sentral.
