Bring your MyKad for activation or purchase the new smart card at the customer service counter.

Both Malaysians and non-Malaysians are eligible for the KLIA Transit TravelCards. It is available in 2 options as below:

  • Using MyKad: Register online and activate your MyKad at the KLIA Transit counter.
  • Smart card: You can purchase the card directly at any KLIA Transit Customer Service counter.
  • 44 trips valid for travel within 31 days of activation).
  • Weekly TravelCard – 14 trips (valid for travel within 7 days of activation).
No, if you have utilize all your trips, you need to purchase a new Weekly/Monthly TravelCard for your next travel.
You can get the new card from any KLIA Transit Customer Service counter at RM10 per card (non-refundable). 
There is no expiration date for the smart card. 
Yes, you can. However, you need to finish the trips inside the MyKad or wait until the expiry prior to switching to the new smart card. 

Just walk to any KLIA Transit counter to purchase the smart card. No specific documents required.

You can replace the smart card as long as you keep the latest receipt so we can track and transfer your travel data into the new smart card. However you need to purchase a new card at RM10 for the replacement.

Yes, you can still use MyKad.

No, you will be charged the normal standard fare. 

You can immediately use the MyKad after reloading the Weekly/Monthly fare of your selected travel sector.

  • KLIA Transit Monthly and Weekly TravelCards can be purchased from the KLIA Transit Customer Service Counter.

    • Customer Service Counter:
    • Online purchase - reload voucher:
      • Register your MyKad online at https://mykad.kliaekspres.com.
      • A Reload Voucher will be issued when you buy online. Go to the Customer Service Counter (at either the origin or destination station) to redeem your Reload Voucher and activate MyKad.
      • The Reload Voucher can be redeemed within 31 days from the selected Redemption Date. The Reload Voucher is not redeemable for cash or any value in kind.

  • At the ticket counter, you may choose to start your TravelCard immediately, or defer it by up to seven (7) days (Start Date).

  • Once started, your TravelCard will be loaded with the correct number of trips and valid for use within the specified period below:

    • The Monthly TravelCard is valid for travel within 31 days of activation (maximum 44 trips).
    • The Weekly TravelCard is valid for travel within 7 days of activation (maximum 14 trips).

  • The TravelCard is valid for travel on KLIA Transit only, and between the two stations encoded on your card.

  • Travel to other stations is NOT allowed.

  • No extension or replacement will be given for any TravelCard/Reload Voucher that has expired, is incomplete/damaged, lost or voided.

  • No refund or exchange will be given for unused trips and no revalidation for expired trips.

  • Non-Malaysians are also eligible to purchase the Weekly and Monthly TravelCards.

  • The ticketing is subject to all applicable laws and regulations, and also to the terms and conditions specified in ERL’s Conditions of Carriage. A copy of our Conditions of Carriage is available at our Customer Service Counters and on our website.

  • By purchasing the TravelCard, customers agree to be bound by these terms and conditions, and ERL’s Conditions of Carriage.
