Things To Do Near Putrajaya & Cyberjaya Station

 

The Putrajaya & Cyberjaya Station  is located within the Putrajaya Sentral, a multimodal transport terminal that houses KLIA Transit station, MRT Station (PY41), a park & ride facility as well as taxi and bus services. From there, you can visit many attractions in the administrative capital of Malaysia.

The Palace of Justice in Putrajaya, is a masterpiece of Islamic, Moorish, Palladian, and Neoclassicism styles. This 5-level building houses courts, government offices, a library, and a museum showcasing Malaysia's judicial system.

The Putra Mosque, with its rose-tinted Arabic-Islamic architecture is one of the major landmarks in Putrajaya. Non-Muslim visitors are welcome to explore the mosque during visiting hours, and free leaflets are available to help them understand Islamic culture and traditions.

The Tuanku Mizan Zainal Abidin Mosque, also known as the Iron Mosque, is the largest and second principal mosque in Putrajaya. It is strikingly modern in design and technology, and awe-inspiring when lit up at night.

Taman Botani, the largest botanical garden in Malaysia, is a haven for nature lovers and cyclists. Divided into 3 sections, the garden features 5 landmarks and serves as a perfect picnic spot. You can also rent bicycles and paddle boats, and enjoy a meal at the onsite seafood restaurant.

The Putrajaya Wetlands Park, or Taman Wetlands, is the largest artificially constructed freshwater wetlands in Malaysia. This park is home to rare indigenous species of flora and fauna and is a popular birdwatching site, with over 100 species of birds residing there.

The Millennium Monument is another important landmark in Putrajaya, standing at 68 meters tall. The monument depicts Malaysia's growth and development, and visitors can take an elevator to the top for a panoramic view of the city.

The Putrajaya Lake, is one of the largest man-made lakes in Malaysia. The lake is designed to act as a natural cooling system for the nearby Putrajaya city and also for recreation, fishing and water sports. You can also enjoy a cruise with Cruise Tasik for scenic view and romantic getaways.

Seri Wawasan Bridge, the main bridge in Putrajaya, is a stunning architectural feat that connects the Core Island to Precinct 8. It is especially beautiful at night when lit up, and offers a great spot for photos and a leisurely walk.
